Affiliate Disclosure

Voyasee publishes travel guides, destination research, planning tools, booking support, and practical articles. Some pages contain affiliate, sponsored, referral, or partner links. When a reader clicks one of those links and completes a qualifying booking, purchase, or sign-up, Voyasee may receive a commission or referral fee.

This disclosure explains how those links work, how Voyasee protects editorial independence, which partner categories may appear, and what readers should verify before paying.

1. What Is an Affiliate Link?

An affiliate link is a tracked link to an external company. It may contain a referral code, partner ID, campaign value, or tracking parameter. When a reader follows the link and completes an action recognized by the partner program, Voyasee may earn a commission.

Qualifying actions can include booking accommodation, buying a flight, reserving a transfer, renting a car, purchasing travel insurance, ordering an eSIM, booking an attraction, submitting an eligible compensation claim, or signing up for another travel service.

Clicking a link does not always produce a commission. Tracking windows, cookies, device settings, regional eligibility, exclusions, cancellations, returns, and program rules can affect attribution.

2. How Commissions Affect the Reader

Voyasee does not add a separate affiliate charge. In many programs, the partner pays the commission from its marketing budget. This does not mean an affiliate price is automatically the lowest price or the best option.

Check the final checkout page.

The displayed amount, currency, taxes, local fees, baggage, refund conditions, cancellation terms, insurance limits, and supplier identity govern the purchase.

Prices and terms may change after a Voyasee article is published. Compare the final total with the provider's direct offer and other suitable platforms when the difference matters.

3. Why Voyasee Uses Affiliate Links

Affiliate revenue helps pay for website hosting, security, research, content maintenance, development of free Voyasee planning tools, technical services, and the time required to review and update travel information.

This funding helps keep many articles, calculators, checkers, planning dashboards, and downloadable resources available without charging every reader a subscription or access fee.

Many pages contain no affiliate links, and Voyasee regularly links to official authorities, tourism organizations, research sources, and useful non-commercial pages without receiving payment.

4. Editorial Independence and Partner Selection

Affiliate relationships do not control Voyasee's conclusions, destination comparisons, safety guidance, planning-tool results, or editorial rankings. A company offering a higher commission does not automatically receive a better position.

Voyasee aims to use a partner only when it solves a separate reader task. A planning tool should help the reader decide first; an affiliate handoff should appear later when the reader reaches a genuine accommodation, flight, transfer, rental car, insurance, connectivity, activity, visa-support, transport, or disruption-recovery need.

A partner may be discussed positively, neutrally, critically, or not at all depending on the article. Official sources, direct providers, local services, and non-affiliate alternatives may be recommended when they better fit the situation.

5. Current Affiliate and Referral Partners

The disclosure has been compared with the Voyasee affiliate registry. Booking.com was missing from the previous page and has now been added with separate tracking links for Europe/approved markets and Asia-Pacific/Middle East contexts.

The list below shows partner brands that may appear across Voyasee. Inclusion does not mean every partner appears in every article, operates in every market, or suits every traveler.

Voyasee may add, remove, pause, replace, or update a relationship when a program closes, tracking changes, approved markets change, a service no longer fits readers, or another provider becomes more suitable.

6. Regional Links and Affiliate Redirects

Some programs provide different links for different regions, markets, campaigns, or product categories. Voyasee may therefore use one tracking link in a Europe-focused article and another in an Asia-Pacific or Middle East article, even when both lead to the same brand.

Affiliate links may briefly pass through a tracking or affiliate-network domain before reaching the provider. The visible tracking domain may differ from the final hotel, airline, activity, transfer, or travel-service domain because the redirect records the referral.

Check that the final page is the intended provider, uses a secure connection, and shows the expected product and terms before entering payment or personal information.

7. How Voyasee Marks Commercial Links

Commercial links may be identified with wording such as “affiliate link,” “sponsored link,” “Voyasee may earn a commission,” “partner link,” or similar language near the link, button, recommendation, or section.

Where technically possible, affiliate links use attributes such as rel="sponsored", rel="nofollow", rel="noopener", and rel="noreferrer". These attributes help search engines understand the relationship and improve link security, but visible disclosure remains important.

Normal editorial links, official-source links, citations, and internal Voyasee links are not automatically affiliate links.

8. Cookies, Referral Tracking, and Privacy

Affiliate programs may use cookies, referral IDs, device information, or similar technologies to record that a visitor arrived through a Voyasee link. The tracking period and data practices are controlled by the network or provider.

Voyasee does not control how a third party processes information after you leave Voyasee.com. Review the provider's privacy policy, cookie notice, payment security, and account settings before submitting personal data.

Blocking cookies, switching devices, using private browsing, or purchasing after the tracking period may prevent a commission from being attributed to Voyasee.

9. Sponsored Content, Free Services, and Paid Placements

An affiliate relationship is different from paid sponsored content. Affiliate income normally depends on a qualifying action. Sponsored content, paid placement, hosted travel, free access, or a complimentary product involves a separate arrangement.

When Voyasee publishes content under a material sponsorship, gifted-service, hosted-travel, or paid-placement arrangement, we aim to disclose that relationship on the relevant page. A normal affiliate partnership does not mean the partner reviewed or approved the article.

10. Your Responsibility Before Booking

You are never required to use a Voyasee affiliate link. Before paying, review the provider's:

  • final price, currency, taxes, resort fees, city taxes, and service charges
  • cancellation, refund, change, and no-show conditions
  • baggage, check-in, transfer, self-transfer, and boarding rules
  • visa, passport, transit, customs, health, and entry requirements
  • insurance benefits, limits, exclusions, deductibles, and claim procedures
  • rental deposits, fuel policy, mileage, age rules, and insurance conditions
  • tour operator, meeting point, accessibility, age limits, and weather policy
  • mobile-data coverage, device compatibility, fair-use limits, and activation rules
  • customer-support channels and dispute procedures

Keep receipts, booking references, confirmation emails, policy documents, and important terms where appropriate.

11. Third-Party Responsibility

Affiliate partners are independent third parties. Voyasee does not control their inventory, service delivery, customer support, payment processing, cancellations, refunds, route changes, denied boarding decisions, insurance claims, visa outcomes, compensation eligibility, rental disputes, accommodation quality, or data handling.

Voyasee is not a party to the contract between you and the provider unless a page explicitly states otherwise. Questions about a transaction should normally be directed to the provider or supplier named in the confirmation.

12. Reviews, Corrections, and Link Changes

Travel products, coverage areas, affiliate programs, and tracking URLs change. A link may stop working, redirect to a different regional page, or become unavailable after publication.

Voyasee may update links, descriptions, categories, and disclosure wording after review. A partner's inclusion means a commercial relationship may exist; it is not a permanent endorsement, quality guarantee, or statement that the service suits every traveler.

13. No Professional Advice

Voyasee publishes travel information, planning tools, destination research, and practical guidance. Nothing on Voyasee should be treated as legal, financial, tax, medical, immigration, insurance, or other licensed professional advice.

For high-stakes decisions involving visas, taxes, health, insurance, medication, safety, contracts, or legal obligations, confirm the current requirements with the official authority, provider, or qualified professional.

14. Frequently Asked Questions

Do affiliate links make a booking more expensive?

Voyasee does not add a separate affiliate charge. The provider controls the price. Compare the final total because taxes, exchange rates, local fees, promotions, and cancellation terms may differ.

Why are there two Booking.com links?

The registry contains separate Booking.com tracking links for Europe/approved markets and Asia-Pacific/Middle East approved markets. Voyasee may use the link that best matches the destination or article context.

Does commission affect rankings or tool results?

Affiliate commission should not determine editorial rankings, destination scores, or planning-tool results. Partners are added only where they match a separate reader need.

Are all external links affiliate links?

No. Voyasee also links to official authorities, tourism boards, research sources, airlines, hotels, attractions, maps, and useful pages without a commercial relationship.

Can I book directly without using an affiliate link?

Yes. You can visit the provider directly, use another platform, book with the supplier, or decide not to purchase.

What should I do if a link is broken or unclear?

Contact Voyasee at [email protected] and include the page URL and link name so it can be reviewed.
